Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Patapa (パタタイ, the "App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). If they conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.
1. License
We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control.
2. In-app purchases
"Remove Ads" and "Pro (lifetime)" are non-consumable products sold through the App Store. Prices are shown before you buy. Payment, refunds and Family Sharing follow Apple's terms; refund requests are handled by Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
Purchases are available on every iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac signed in to the same Apple Account via "Restore Purchases". If a purchase is revoked (for example after a refund or when Family Sharing ends), the related features are no longer available.
Watching an ad to try a Pro skin is a temporary trial and does not replace a purchase. Its availability and length may change without notice.
3. Using the timers
The App relies on your device's clock, notifications and alarms. Silent mode, Focus, low battery or operating-system limits can delay or prevent alerts and sounds.
Do not rely solely on the App where a timing error or a missed alert could cause serious harm, such as medical or medication schedules, safety-critical tasks or official exam timing.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Decompiling, modifying or redistributing the App, except as permitted by law
- Accessing our servers without authorization or placing excessive load on them
- Fraudulent ad clicks or artificially inflating ad impressions
- Any unlawful use
5. Intellectual property
The App's design, skins, sounds and software belong to us or their respective owners.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it is error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Except for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the App, and any liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App. Where applicable consumer protection law does not allow these limits, that law applies.
7. Changes and termination
We may change the App or these terms, or discontinue the App. Changes to these terms will be posted on this page, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes relating to the App, unless mandatory law where you live provides otherwise.
